Terms & Conditions

1.      Welcome to Peterborough House (“Peterborough House”,”we”,”us”,”our”). By making a booking or staying with us you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2.      Bookings & Payments

• All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of reservation.

• Full payment may be required prior to arrival, depending on the rate or promotion selected.

• We reserve the right to pre-authorise your credit card prior to arrival.

3.      Cancellation Policy

• Direct website bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hrs after booking is confirmed. All bookings made through an OTA will be non-refundable.

• Cancellations made after 24hr will be charged the full rate for cancellation.

• No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.

• Special rates, group bookings, and event packages may have different cancellation terms.

4.      Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: From 2:00 PM

• Check-out: By 10:00 AM

• Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may incur additional charges.

5.      Guest Responsibilities

• Guests must behave in a respectful manner towards staff, other guests, and property.

• Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required will be charged to the guest.

• Guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors comply with these terms.

6.      Noise & Conduct

• Peterborough House is located in a quiet coastal community.

• Excessive noise, parties, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

• Management reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund if behaviour is deemed unacceptable.

7.     Smoking Policy

• All rooms are strictly non-smoking.

• Smoking in rooms will incur a cleaning fee (minimum $300).

8.      Pets

• Pets are only permitted by prior arrangement.

• Guests are responsible for the supervision and care of their pets at all times.

• Any damage or additional cleaning will be charged accordingly.

9.      Damages & Security

• A valid credit card is required at check-in for incidental charges.

• Any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning will be charged to the guest.

• Minimum damage charges may apply (starting from $500, up to full replacement value).

10.    Liability

• While we take reasonable care, Peterborough House is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

• Guests use the premises and facilities at their own risk.

11.     Parking

• On-site parking is available for guests.

• Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

12.    Restaurant & Distillery

• Restaurant and distillery hours may vary seasonally.

• Responsible Service of Alcohol applies at all times.

• Management reserves the right to refuse service.

13.    Gift Vouchers & Promotions

• Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be used before expiry.

• Promotional rates and codes are subject to availability and may have specific conditions.

14.    Website & Booking Platform

• While we strive for accuracy, errors in pricing or availability may occur.

• We reserve the right to correct errors and cancel bookings if necessary.

15.    Force Majeure

• We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or extreme weather.

16.    Privacy

• We respect your privacy. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17.    Changes to Terms

• Peterborough House reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
